Megan Kreke is an associate attorney licensed to practice law in Illinois and Florida.
Ms. Kreke graduated Summa Cum Laude from Illinois State University in 2017 with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and a Minor in Peace and Conflict Resolution Studies. Ms. Kreke received her Juris Doctor from The University of Memphis Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law in May 2021.
Prior to law school, Megan worked for the Family Law Division as a Courtroom Clerk for the St. Clair County Circuit Clerk’s Office.
While in law school, Megan was an active member of the Association for Women Attorneys. Megan worked as a Public Interest Law Initiative (PILI) Intern for Land of Lincoln Legal Aid in East St. Louis, Illinois working primarily on family law and bankruptcy cases as a first-year law student. Megan also volunteered with Memphis Area Legal Services to provide pro bono legal assistance with matters involving family and domestic relations, expungement of criminal records, and restoration of voting rights.
In January 2020, Megan joined a coalition of attorneys, lawmakers, community members, and the University of Memphis Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law under the Emergency Rental Assistance Program to represent and advocate for Memphis, Tennessee community members facing the COVID-19 housing and eviction crisis in the Shelby County, Tennessee area.
Megan currently lives in Maryville, Illinois with her fiancé, their new baby, and two dogs. Megan looks forward to being a strong advocate for her clients and is glad to be back in her hometown practicing law.
